Have you booked your family holiday yet? How about for next year? With a myriad of supposed offers on the market and every European destination tipped to be the next holiday hotspot, the part where you have to book something can be the most daunting – especially when all you want to do is be on the beach with your loved ones.

Here are five top tips for beginning your family holiday search…

1. Find a one-stop-shop for all your holiday needs. There are several companies on the market that can take care of finding the perfect family package holiday, but do your research to find one with a good reputation.

2. Look out for special offers. So many deals on the market seem perfect on first glance, but then you see your proposed costs mount up once you start adding essentials such as airport parking. Many one-stop-shops will provide a range of offers to ensure every penny of your budget goes on your family’s happiness.

3. Get the best deal for cheap family travel insurance before you buy. You can find some fantastic deals on the market, so it’s best to compare costs. If you’re planning on multiple trips over 12 months, a multi-trip policy could save you even more money.

4. Join a club. Finding cheap family holidays can be a time-consuming and frustrating challenge, but you can make big savings by joining a travel club that provides discounts, avoids credit card surcharges and can bring details of the best offers to you.

5. Find the destination that suits your needs. Families aren’t exclusively made up of two point four children, so don’t be put off by the phrase ‘family holiday’. It doesn’t always mean ball-pits and Chris the Crocodile Clubs! From city-breaks and coastal treats to Murder Mystery Weekends and mini-cruises, the possibilities are endless and they needn’t be just for grown-ups.

If you’re ready to start researching some fantastic family package holidays then why not head over to Candis, which has many dates and destinations to choose from.

Tips to Setting Goals and Achieving Goals ? 4 Important Tips to Avoid Stress Overload

Achieving goals is sometimes tricky.  Sometimes it’s easy and sometimes it isn’t but one thing is for sure; people want to attain something at some point in their life.  You are either a person that just sits and wishes or a person that wants to work toward a specific goal and achieve it.  These four tips are for the secondly mentioned crowd.  If you are part of this crowd of people who want to accomplish many goals and dreams, you know what it is to be stressed out.  Read further for my four tips to help keep your stress level down so that your objectives and ambitions can be realized.  After reading Part 1, don’t forget to click on Part 2 for the continuation of four Tips to Keep Stress Overload at Bay and Start Achieving your Goals.

Tip#1:  Prepare, Plan and Prioritize!  A successful person could be defined as one that is achieving goals that they have set for themselves.  No matter what type of goal – they are achieving it.  They have set their goal and realized the steps that it takes to get there.  This sort of person does not let life just hand them what it gives but rather they carefully and strategically map out the system and means by which to attain exactly what they want.  By preparing for what is needed to achieve what you want, planning what methods or means will be necessary and prioritizing what goals are the most important, you immediately raised your likelihood of success.  This first tip is crucial in stopping stress before it has a chance to blossom.  As Henry Ford said “Before everything else, getting ready is the secret to success.”

Tip#2:  Realize Reality and Restrictions!  Do not try to push yourself into achieving goals that are not realistic.  This is an important tip.  If your goal is a big one that is good but set smaller stepping-stone goals to lead you to the larger one.  Tell me, who would reach the goal of becoming a pilot without studying and schooling before the pilots test?  Without a good grasp on reality, you are setting yourself up for an enormous amount of stress and inevitable failure.  Take time to review what smaller goals you need to achieve to reach your destination.

Tip#3:  Stop and Sit Still for a Second!  At various times a goal oriented person will be caught up and distracted with insignificant details that can be thrown out of the plan.  When you find yourself full of anxiety or feel stress taking its hold, take time to relax and contemplate.  Stop what you are doing, look at what needs to be done, prioritize again, and listen to your instinct.  While achieving goals that you have set for yourself do not let details of the day that have nothing to do with your goal bog down your efforts and frustrate you.  Reevaluate your plan and get rid of activities that will only hinder your accomplishment.

Tip #4:  Embrace your Humanity!  Realize that you are still just a human being.  Don’t try to complete a marathon in one hour – it won’t happen.  Rather, give yourself an accurate amount of tasks with a realistic completion time.  This tip is especially hard for “Type A” personalities.  People that are on the go-go-go 24/7.  If you are realizing that you have too many demands on yourself, delegate some for a different day and trim up your plan.  By doing this, you will not be setting yourself up for frustration and undo stress.

Have you recognized one of the above tips as a weakness area in your life?  Stress will affect your health, your happiness and your overall well-being.  Beat stress before it has a detrimental affect on your life and achieving goals that you have look hopeless.  Using the above tips will help keep your stress levels lower and achieving goals you wish to accomplish will be one-step closer.
